(Product Review) EurKitchen Professional-Grade Culinary Torch

I had the opportunity to use the EurKitchen Professional-Grade Culinary Torch and am really enjoying it. I had never used a culinary torch before but had lots of ideas on how it might come in handy, and I could have a lot of fun experimenting with it.

So far I have only gotten to try out a couple of my ideas because even though the description says that you can quickly refill with any brand of butane (not included), I managed to find the one can that would not work with this torch. Having never purchased this type of fuel before I asked a store employee for help finding butane, and the only can we found had a nozzle that was not long enough.

My son happened to have just a little left though, so I did get to at least test it out by roasting us a hot dog and a marshmallow. They came out wonderfully, and I didn't have to freeze to build a bonfire in the snow for our little cookout.  My son says that what I bought was butane for a camp stove, and what I needed was the kind of canister for refilling a lighter.

Now that I know this, I will get the right kind so I can continue with my cooking experiments. I'm loving this gadget and can hardly wait until I get more fuel so that I can use my new kitchen gadget for more fun and exciting things. As much as I am enjoying this, I am sure it is something I will be using much more.
