(Product Review) NutraCanis Healthy Cod Liver Oil

Although this bottle of NutraCanis Healthy Cod Liver Oil says that it is human grade, I was rather surprised when 2 of my sons decided they wanted to try it. Even though they both love fish and bacon it still caught me by surprise but since it is human grade quality, I gave them the go ahead to taste it. They both agreed that it smelled good, and although they could taste a bit of a fishy taste to it along with the bacon flavoring, they both agreed that it wasn't a bad taste. My dog agrees with them and took this fish oil eagerly.

Because she has health issues I have been giving her supplements on a regular basis. Although I can get her to take fish oil capsules at times, she doesn't take them nearly as well as she takes this cod liver oil supplement. I like that these are made in the USA and that they are tested for mercury and other toxins, and I also like the additional vitamins A & D that are added to this healthy omega 3 supplement.

According to information I found on the benefits of cod liver oil for dogs, this product should be helpful for many of her ailments including joint pain and stiffness, shedding, hot spots, inflammation, and helping to improve her skin and coat. I do my best to help improve the quality of her life, especially since her cancer diagnosis last year, and will continue to do everything possible to improve her health and quality of life.

I recommend this product to anyone who has pets, and especially to those who have pets suffering from any of the ailments that cod liver oil is supposed to be beneficial for. This is a good product, and best of all, she really enjoys taking this.

Although I got this product at a discount or received a complimentary sample in exchange for my honest review, all thoughts and opinions on the products I review are always my own and have not been influenced by any discounts or samples which may have been provided to me.
