When you have dogs who love to go for rides, it is great to find a way to protect your vehicle. It fits most most of compact and small SUVs, and the straps hold it securely in place so my furry passengers aren't sliding around on a blanket or similar item that may have been used to protect the vehicle in the past.
It has 3 layers of protection so it not only keeps the SUV clean, but also is more comfortable for them. I don't always use a liner in my own vehicles, but when taking them along in someone else's car I like to minimize any chance of a mess.
This worked great in the Jeep and from the comparability list above it looks like it will also work well in the Equinox too.
