(Product Review) Quiseen BBQ Grill Mat - Set of 2 Mats - High Quality, Thick, Durable, Non-Stick, Heat Resistant and Dishwasher Safe

During the summer we do a lot of cooking on the grill. During the cooler weather we cook many foods in the oven. I recently tried using grill mats for this purpose and am enjoying them. My most recent grill mat purchase was the Quiseen BBQ Grill Mat Set of 2 Mats.

Like the other grill mats I purchased, these are a sheet of Teflon type fabric which can be used on your barbecue grill or in your oven or microwave, or other cooking surfaces which will not exceed 500 F and where the mat will not be in contact with open flames.

Since the weather hasn't been good for cooking on the grill lately, I have only tested this set in the oven and microwave. Updates concerning outdoor cooking can only be done once I have used them for this purpose. From what I have seen so far these should work well as long as the flames on your grill are under control so that they aren't touching the mat.

These grill mats are easy to use. I can lay the mat directly on the oven rack or line a pan with it, then slide it into the oven. Last night I used these grill mats for baking bread. I simply shaped the loaves on the mat and popped it into the oven once the dough had risen. My bread came out nicely browned and delicious. I didn't need to grease pans or any other special preparation, just set it on the mat and threw it into the oven.

These are nonstick, flexible and can be cut to custom sizes if desired. Cleanup is easy, just a bit of hot soapy water and a sponge will clean them up in a few seconds, or you can throw them in the dishwasher if you prefer. 

You can cook a variety of foods on these mats and not have to worry about foods falling through the grates on your barbecue grill or making a mess in your oven. I often lined cookie sheets with aluminum foil and placed them under messy foods when placing them in my oven. Now I use these mats instead for an easy way to keep my oven from getting messy. Even when the pie bubbles over the top of the pan and dribbles down onto this mat, it is easy to clean because the foods don't stick to it. They will save me a lot of time and effort in cleaning up kitchen messes.
