(Product Review) Bright Outdoors Solar Lantern / Flashlight with Emergency Powerbank

I like to be prepared for anything, so I love the idea of a solar powered light like the Bright Outdoors Solar Lantern / Flashlight with Emergency Powerbank. This light can be used as a flashlight, or a lantern, and even as an emergency powerbank to run some of your USB gadgets in a pinch.

You can charge it via USB using the enclosed USB cable, or by placing it the sunlight, then turn on the lights during a power outage, camping trip, or any time you need a little extra light. Whether you use it as a flashlight or a lantern, this light is pretty bright. It has two brightness settings and a strobe setting, so it can be useful for a variety of purposes.

The USB charging port is covered by a little rubber door to protect it from the elements. I did find that I needed to pay careful attention to whether or not the little door is closed tightly. At least a couple of times I though it was closed, but it wasn't quite closed and popped back open. This isn't a big deal in the house, but in an outdoor setting I would want to make sure it was sealed tightly.

This is a nice little light that closes down accordion style to a very compact size. This makes it easily portable since you can tuck it into a small space in your backpack, car or bug out bag, making it a great item for those who want to be prepared for anything. Fully expanded it is still pretty compact at just a few inches tall, and has a built in handle for carrying or hanging it in your tent.

It will run for about 10 hours when the batteries are fully charged, making it a nice thing to have around for all of the power outages we have been having lately. I can just leave it in the window with the solar panel facing out during the day and I am assured a fully charged battery and a fully functional lantern or flashlight in the evening if needed. I really like this little light, and would recommend it to anyone.

Although I got this product at a discount or received a complimentary sample in exchange for my honest review, all thoughts and opinions on the products I review are always my own and have not been influenced by any discounts or samples which may have been provided to me.
