(Product Review) Kitchen Gizmo Citrus Slicer

I got the Kitchen Gizmo Citrus Slicer because I cut a lot of fruit for snacks for my grandchildren and myself, and also for adding to my tea or infused waters. 

This gadget works great for cutting fruits into 6 equally sized wedges, and makes serving healthy snacks and drinks quick and easy. It comes apart into 3 pieces; the citrus holder, blade and the bowl. After separating the pieces you simply place your fruit in the holder, attach the lid to the slicer, then line up the blade with the slots on the holder. The lid acts as a safety feature, keeping the blades away from your fingers while you press down on the cover. 

Once the slicing is done, you simply flip the gizmo over and the cover doubles as a bowl, holding your freshly cut fruit. It works quickly and easily to slice your fruit into uniform sections. So far I have tried this on an apple, an orange, a lemon and a lime and all worked well. 

The fruits all sliced nicely with very little effort, and gave me beautiful fruit wedges in just a few seconds. There was no mess since everything was contained inside the gizmo, and cleanup was also easy since this can be either washed in hot soapy water or tossed in the dishwasher. The wedges are perfect for snacks, infused waters, fruited ice cubes, mixed drinks, and more. This is a handy item for anyone who uses fruit wedge for these or other purposes.
