(Product Review) PillowEase Coccyx Orthopedic Seat Cushion with Comfort Foam (Firm) Gray- Maximum Sciatica Pain Relief - Bonus Cover: Black - 1 Year Warranty

I purchased the PillowEase Coccyx Orthopedic Seat Cushion with Comfort Foam to help relieve the pain from my sciatica as well as other hip and back pain that I experience on a regular basis. It has been suggested that sitting with proper posture could help to lessen the pain.

This cushion is lightweight and easily portable so I can take it anywhere I need a cushion. So far I have used it in my home and in the car, although during the summer I will likely be taking it along to family reunions, picnics, and possibly other places where I tend to have a hard seat to sit in.

This coccyx cushion is about 3 inches thick and made of memory foam. It is U shaped to provide a place for your tailbone, yet support your weight correctly in all other areas. So far I have found that it does provide some relief. I can use it in the car or in my office chair with no problem and it is fairly comfortable.

I have noticed a bit less pain and discomfort in my hip and back while using this cushion. It does feel quite firm, and I can't say for sure how well it will work in a hard chair or wooden bench, but any padding at all has got to be better than the hard seats I sometimes find myself forced to use.

The only issue I have had with this seat cushion so far is with the cover. It arrived with the grey cover on it, and a black cushion as a spare. Unfortunately, I was not able to get the black cover on it. I tried for several minutes but it was just too snug to fit the cushion. My son's girlfriend tried to help me get the cover on, but she was not able to get it on either without breaking the zipper in her efforts.

The grey cover looks fine on it, and I can use it this way, but it would have been nice to have the additional cover for use while the grey one is being laundered. I am currently using the damaged cover while laundering the grey one, even though the cover doesn't completely cover the cushion this way. I do find this coccyx seat cushion useful and would recommend it to others, but keep in mind that you may have issues with the spare cushion.

Although I got this product at a discount or received a complimentary sample in exchange for my honest review, all thoughts and opinions on the products I review are always my own and have not been influenced by any discounts or samples which may have been provided to me.
