(Product Review) Santamedical Mini Penguin Massager

Dealing with a lot of stress on a regular basis is no fun, and neither are muscle aches. I have been using this Santamedical Mini Penguin Massager to help eliminate some of the tension along with the aches and pains that are a regular part of my life.

This handheld mini massager is small at just over 6 inches in length, and lightweight at about a quarter of a pound. It is easily portable and runs on two AA batteries which are not included but are easy to find at just about any store. This massage wand has a simple push button operation, with two massage intensities. Just a quick press of the button can cycle this device between low intensity and high intensity, also turning the massage wand on and off.

The smooth, sleek design fits nicely in my hand and is comfortable to hold. I can feel the gently vibration through my hand and wrist while massaging my neck, shoulder or legs, which are the 3 main areas where I use this massaging wand.

I like the low setting best as to me it feels more like the type of massage I have gotten from the physical therapy in the past. The higher setting is fine too, but felt more of a tickle or vibration than an actual massage to me. I wouldn't describe the high intensity as anything close to a deep muscle massage, but more of a faster vibration than the lower setting has. Both settings worked well though and I'm sure that since every person is different so each must decide for themselves what the proper setting for them would be. I have found that using this massager on a regular basis, along with my physical therapy and aromatherapy has really helped with the tension and muscle aches.

The only thing I don't like about this massager wand is that it is not rechargeable. Don't get me wrong, I love that it takes AA batteries instead of a less common and harder to find type, but I am a big fan of rechargeable gadgets that can be plugged in to recharge between uses. This is not enough of a con to deduct any stars since the AA batteries are so easy to find, but still worthy of a mention. Overall, I am very happy with this massager and would recommend it to others.

Although I got this product at a discount or received a complimentary sample in exchange for my honest review, all thoughts and opinions on the products I review are always my own and have not been influenced by any discounts or samples which may have been provided to me.
