(Product Review) Bark Control Pro Collar for Small and Large Dogs

I really hate the idea of using a shock collar on my dogs, but there are times when I need to control the barking, and nothing I do seems to work. I purchased this Bark Control Pro Collar for Small and Large Dogs in an effort to do just that.

This bark control collar is recommended for dogs from 10 to 120 pounds, and it is adjustable so the shock will be no more intense than the setting I choose. Additionally, the first two barks only get an audio warning, with no shock unless your dog continues to bark. It took only a time or two before mine realized that she needed to stop barking to avoid the collar advancing to the shock phase.

I set the collar to a very mild shock because I don't want to cause pain, just teach her that her barking is unnecessary and unwanted. She learned rather quickly that when she is wearing the collar, she needs to stop barking or risk being corrected by the collar. I don't put it on her all the time, only when her barking could be a problem, but it does seem to do the job with no problems.
