Turmeric is said to have many medicinal qualities including being an anti-inflammatory and helping with arthritis among many other things. Since I am battling severe arthritis in several of my joints, I felt that this would be a good supplement for me. 

So far I am getting some relief from the painful arthritis that I have been dealing with. I can't say for certain whether this product is entirely responsible since I have also used other products and am seeing a doctor on a regular basis to try to manage this, but it certainly isn't hurting anything.
