(Product Review) Ohuhu Studio Recording Condenser Pro Microphone with Metal Shock Mount Holder Clip

I love to sing, and get together with several of my friends to sing quite often. I have a variety of microphones that I have purchased over the years, and one of my newest is this Ohuhu Studio Recording Condenser Pro Microphone with Metal Shock Mount Holder Clip

I haven't had it for long, but am very happy with this microphone. The sound is very clear with little or no distortion. Whether singing or playing an instrument, the sound is really quite good. I often use it with my karaoke equipment so that my friends and I can enjoy a karaoke night at my house. We have also used it to listen to a friend who plays his guitar for us.

Although this microphone is not intended to be used with a computer, connecting your computer through a mixer or amp will provide the power needed, and depending on your soundcard, your sound will still be of a good quality.

You could use this microphone for a variety of purposes including creating podcasts and voiceovers for videos, gaming and video chat, but personally I have used it mostly for music. I didn't test it for all of these purposes however I did plug it into my computer to try a little computer karaoke even though it isn't necessarily recommended for that purpose. The sound was good, although it would have been a lot better if I either had a better soundcard or went through an amp or mixer because the sound was a little weak there, although I really didn't expect more than I got because the listing says right up front that it isn't intended for this purpose.

I really like that it comes with a sturdy studio shock mount and a wind screen. Of course, to use the shock mount you will need some sort of microphone stand to attach it to because this isn't included.

The cord that comes with this microphone is the same as a regular audio cable, the size that would plug into your computer or a similar device. I did need to use an adapter to plug it into some of my equipment, although some is set up for this size of microphone jack. Since the cord is detachable, I could have also swapped it out for one of my my other microphone cables though. Either way, once I got it set up I am very happy with my new microphone, and so were all of my friends who have tried it out so far. It seemed to be the microphone of choice for our last couple of karaoke parties and everyone seemed to really like the sound. I would recommend this microphone to others, and especially for the price you are getting a great deal.

Although I got this product at a discount or received a complimentary sample in exchange for my honest review, all thoughts and opinions on the products I review are always my own and have not been influenced by any discounts or samples which may have been provided to me for testing purposes.
