I recently got this Portable Stainless Steel Wood Burning Camp Stove - Wolfyok(TM) Outdoor Firewood / Wood Camp Stove for Camping, Hunting, Backpacking, Picnic and find that it is a handy little camp stove that is easy to take with you anywhere.
It is small and lightweight so it is easy to tuck into your backpack, picnic gear, or bugout bag. It measures about 5 1/2 inches in diameter and about 3 1/2 inches tall and tucks into a little mesh bag. It only weighs a little over 12 ounces, so it really doesn't add much bulk or weight to your pack. The pieces nest together, and are easy to assemble and to tuck back away when finished.
You can easily find fuel on your camping trip since it can burn a variety of fuels such as twigs, pine cones, etc. This would be handy for camping as well as for survival situations since you could use it for cooking or to provide a small amount of heat in an emergency.
