(Product Review) Intociruit Compact Car Jump Starter and Power Bank with 400A Peak Current / 3 USB Charging Ports

I like to be prepared in the event of an emergency. I couldn't begin to tell you how many times I have either had a dead battery myself, or needed to help another motorist who had a dead battery. Jumper cables are one of those things that I have always liked to carry with me for such emergencies, but there are times when finding someone who is willing to jump start your car isn't convenient. I bought the Intociruit Compact Car Jump Starter and Power Bank with 400A Peak Current / 3 USB Charging Ports for just such an emergency.

It is small, lightweight and easy to carry along in any car. Measuring only 6.5 inches by 3 inches by 1.4 inches, this device is easy to tuck into your trunk, toolbox, console, glove compartment, under your seat, or even in your purse so you always have it with you.

This jump starter has 200 amps starting current and 400 amps peak current, which is sufficient to jump start smaller cars, motorcycles, lawnmowers, etc. but may not be powerful enough for some of the larger cars and trucks out there. I tried to use it on my Chevy Blazer but it just wasn't quite powerful enough. I don't blame the jump starter though since It took 20 minutes to get it started with a set of jumper cables as well so I think it was a problem with the truck, not the starter. I am pretty sure it would have been able to start a smaller car or one that had a battery that wasn't quite as dead as mine.

In addition to starting cars, this gadget is also great for charging your phone, tablet or other device. In fact, you can charge 3 devices at once with this jump starter. I also love that it has an LED flashlight built into it. This could come in very handy if you were stranded and trying to connect your starter in a dark area, or for any number of other reasons where light is necessary.

The jump starter takes about 4 hours to charge up once the battery is depleted, so it is easy to always keep this charged and ready to go. It also has an LCD display which makes it easy to tell how well charged it is at a glance. The goof proof error protection is definitely a plus as well. It offers spark-proof technology and reverse polarity protection to protect users from accidentally connecting it wrong. After a neighbor blew up a battery in his face several years ago, I always worry when I see an inexperienced user connecting a battery, but this shouldn't be a problem with this portable charger.

Overall, I love this charger and enjoy the security of having it with me on car trips, just in case of an emergency situation. I hope to never need it, but it is one of those things I don't like to be without.
