I just got my Wine Chiller - Family Care Stainless Steel Wine Bottle Cooler Stick Whiskey Stones Wine Ice Cubes with Aerator and Pourer by Family Care and have been using it for several days now.
This gadget is perfect for pouring chilled wines because you simply pull your chill rod out of the freezer and insert in into your bottle of wine. The rubber stopper fits the bottle neck nicely. If you leave the chill rod in your wine bottle for a little while it will cool your wine quite a bit.
Although I never timed it, I would guess that it keeps your bottle of wine cold for about an hour, but if you prefer your wine even colder, you could start out with a refrigerated bottle for even colder temperatures. This would not only give you a colder wine to begin with but would help to keep it colder for longer.
The aerator and pourer does a good job of aerating your wine, although not as well as allowing it to breathe in my decanter for a while. Still, it does what is expected, and I would recommend this product to others.
